What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your first visit to Sugar Bugs Pediatric Dentistry is important because it introduces you to our friendly dental team. During your first visit, we will collect your medical history as well as introduce you to your dentist.
Dental Insurance & Coverage
We are happy to answer questions about your dental insurance coverage. Please call our office at 303-427-9779, and our friendly team will assist you.
Each insurance company offers multiple coverage options, and benefits will vary according to your exact plan. Although we have contracts with many dental PPO plans, we may not be contracted with all plans through any company.
Some of the PPO plans with whom we have contracts are Aetna, Ameritas, Cigna, Delta, GEHA, Guardian, Humana, MetLife, Principal, Sun Life, United Healthcare, UNUM. We are also in-network for CHP+ and Medicaid.
Even if we are out of network for your plan, many PPO plans offer out-of-network benefits and may offer coverage at our office. Please call to find out about your specific plan.
Typically, many plans will cover some or all of the costs for preventative care, as well as a portion for restorative/treatment care. The amount covered will depend on the specifics of your plan and care needed.
In addition to accepting most PPO insurance plans, we also accept cash, personal checks, and all major debit/credit cards and offer financing options through Care Credit.
